Some very impressive work by owners teaching their pups the emergency stop. A challenge they all managed to achieve. Lots of practise still required of course so that it works when it counts. Everyone then had fun with the much easier but just as useful “paws up”. It was great to have Noodle back with us 🐶😀🐾
At the second puppy class, owners did a really great job of teaching their puppies to go with them, away from dropped treats . They practised saying hello to each other and coming away with their owners. Everyone did so well and I was very impressed by some of the young handlers 🐶😊🐾
It was lovely to see so many of the puppies that have completed the first course return for the follow on course. We were also very happy to welcome the most handsome Hector to the group. We were sorry to be missing Noodle who was resting due to an injury. Hopefully he will be back with us next week.
Everyone has done a lot of growing over Christmas (puppies not owners 😉). They did great with a bit of flirt pole fun before introducing the clicker and teaching their pups a lovely finish move. Great work by everyone 😀🐶🐾
We had some lovely new puppies with commited owners start the new course of classes yesterday. We’re inside in the warm and dry of the CountrysideCentre. Much less mud! Everyone has got off to a great start with some initial recall exercises. Well done everyone, I look forward to seeing how everyone progresses 🐶😀
Our last class of the course and of the year. Sadly a couple couldn’t make the last one, we all missed their company. Everyone has done so well and worked really hard. All the puppies have come on a long way. I look forward to seeing them again in the New Year for the next course 🐕😀🐾
Owners and puppies braved the chilly wind to do a bit more recall before working on stay. This was a challenge with all the distractions but they did very well. We rounded off the session with the very helpful hand touch which all the pups did great with! Last session next week already 🐕🐾😊
Another recall exercise for the puppies who all responded amazingly to their owners. We then did a bit of take it/drop it, finishing off with teaching eye contact on cue. I was very impressed with everyone’s achievements, especially our lovely new recruit little Charlie who did brilliantly 😊🐕🐾
The owners did fantastically well teaching their puppies to walk on a loose lead. Very important when you’re walking on slippy muddy fields! 🐕🐾
Owners did a fantastic job of teaching their puppies “this way/let’s go” , everyone did amazingly well. We had the pleasure of Edison and Aki joining us. Thanks everyone for putting up with the cold and mud but at least it stayed dry!
We welcomed some lovely new puppies and their owners to the latest puppy training classes. We look forward to some more arriving next week. Everyone got off to a great start, although it was a challenge managing all the distractions! 🐕😀🐾
